Have you ever thought were would like to go if you had a time machine? Which historical time would you like to go to ?
Well I know it's not something someone will ask you that often so I am sure many won't have thought of it, and I don't judge I didn't ever thought of that either. But when I came up with this blog idea I spend a bit of a time thinking about it actually.
It wasn't easy to be honest there are so many historic events that I would love to witness with my own eyes, that I had a hard time of even thinking which one I would love to visit and witness if ever possible.
From the times of the Archaic Period of Greece (8th Century BC), Classical Greece (499 BC) and the Trojan War times (13th or 12th century BC), and all the way to the times of Vincent Van Gogh, Michelangelo and Rembrandt, the times of famous writers such us William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde and Charles Dickens,
I could say that I would like to visit and the sad event times of our history, cause I believe that there is something to learn even from those times. Such as the Russian Revolution ( 1917 - 1923), the Greco -Italian War ( 1940 - 1941), the Holocaust (1941-1945), the Bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki ( 6 & 9 August 1945) or the Korean War ( 1950 -1953). From this time I believe we could learn the strength of will, the fearless attitude, the survival spirit and the hardships of those people. And no matter how hard and horrible were the outcomes of those wars and times, they still made sure to keep fighting for a better future for them and the generations to come.
I believe there are a lot someone could learn from those times and it's a different thing to read about them and another to live it. Correct me if I am wrong but sometimes people tend to forget thing that they have read but I doubt someone will ever forget something they lived and experienced.

So I really had a thought of what era I would like to visit if ever had the chance and for some reason out of all as a first choice I would like to visit the times of the Romanov ( 1613 - 1917) or Yuan Dynasty (1271 -1368) and maybe a bit more specifically during the ruling of Emperor Toghon Temür (1320 -1370)
For young age I was always fascinated, with all the histories of royals and everything and anything that had to do with the Royal stuff, and definitely I would love to get a chance and see from first hand all that. The life inside the palace, the "wars" inside the palace, as well as learn the medicine tricks of those eras, especially the Chinese medical traditions of Yuan.
I believe there are so many both intellectual, disciplinary, strategical and cultural things someone could learn and gain from those times, as from the time the life inside a palace does not only include the fabulous balls and celebrations but also very strict lifestyle with strict rules, revenges, betrayals etc.
As a second choice I guess I would love to visit all those famous people who did so much and made a history each in their own profession and way, leaving to our generations and the generation to come huge and valuable treasures. People like Vincent Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinchi - or people like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,Ludwig Van Beethoven, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - who wrote all those amazing symphonies and musics - or people like William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens,Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin and Bram Stoker.
I would love to learn from them, get to see them work and understand what actually inspired them for each creation, I would literally love to be their students even for one day, one hour.....one minute. And believe me I would make sure to absorb everything I hear and learn from those people and cherish them for the rest of my life. For me that would be a priceless treasure.
